Abilities

Hammer possesses an above normal level of athletic ability, combined with a super natural level of physical healing due to the introduction of tissue-building nannites in his bloodstream. Hammer also possesses hardened dermis as a side-effect of the procedure that introduced the healing nannites. To date, his skin has deflected munitions upwards of 50 caliber, though tissue damage was evident.

 

 

Background

Born Jack Lee, Hammer was a natural athlete from an early age, eventually choosing the military upon graduation. Lee progressed quickly through the ranks eventually leading his own squad on a variety of dangerous missions. While in field of one such mission, Lee was dangerously wounded and gathered for return to home. While on death’s bed, Lee’s brother agreed to allow Lee to participate in an experimental procedure involving nannite-plasma infusion. Within hours of the procedure, Lee’s body had re-grown several severely injured organs and a partially missing limb. Within a day, his health had been totally restored and had in fact, exceeded previous levels of health.
