Abilities

Goldfish is a genetic anomaly, born on land while also possessing a secondary oxygen from water processing system. While submerged, Goldfish also possesses the ability to control the flow of currents around his body. In practice, this allows him a form of “flight” under water, with the water pushing his form in the direction he wills. Though of normal strength for a human of his size and stature, under water, the limit of his strength is measured only by his imagination. This presumably is due to his water-kinesis control ability.

 

 

Background

Born of dwarf size and stature, Goldfish is of average strength, speed and dexterity. From an early age, he was fascinated with the ocean biomes and creatures, and as an adult he has become a leading authority on the water’s environment and ecosystems. Goldfish has led numerous sub-aquatic research missions over the course of years in search of answers to various myths and undersea legends. During the course of one such mission, Goldfish uncovered what was later described as a mystic artifact dating back to the Age of Atlantis. The artifact, a fist-sized blue sapphire, transformed Goldfish’s physiology to allow water breathing and a form of water-kinesis, or control of water molecules.
